This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) applies to everyone using Maximora ChurchHub. It supplements the Terms of Service. Breaches may result in suspension or termination of the account or specific users.

1. You must not

  • Send unsolicited bulk email, SMS or push messages from the platform. Communication tools are for people who have opted in to your church.

  • Use the Service to process personal data without a lawful basis under the Kenya Data Protection Act or applicable law.
  • Share login credentials between people, or impersonate another user.
  • Attempt to bypass tenant isolation, row-level security, role checks, or rate limits.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape at scale, or interfere with the operation of the Service.
  • Use the Service to mine cryptocurrency, host malware, or launch attacks against any system.

2. Financial responsibility

  • Giving, contributions, and pledges must reflect real transactions. Do not use the Service to disguise the source of funds or evade tax.
  • Receipts, statements and invoices generated by the Service must not be altered to misrepresent amounts, donors, or dates.

3. Safeguarding members

  • Pastoral care notes, counselling sessions and prayer requests must be entered only by authorised leaders and treated as confidential.
  • Records about children must follow the consent rules set out in the Privacy Policy.
  • Photos and media must respect each member’s reasonable expectation of privacy.

4. Branding and content

  • You may customise your church’s branding (logo, colours, tagline) within the platform’s configuration. White-label options are available on supported plans.
  • You may not present Maximora ChurchHub as your own software, or remove Maximora attribution where the plan does not include white-label rights.

5. Reporting abuse

To report a violation of this AUP, email info@maximoraglobal.com with the subject “Abuse report” and as much detail as possible (URLs, user IDs, timestamps). We investigate every report and will act in good faith and in line with applicable law.
