Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies we use, and how to control them.
Last updated: 20 June 2026
We use a small number of cookies and similar browser storage to keep Maximora ChurchHub secure and usable. We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising and we do not sell data collected through cookies.
1. Strictly necessary
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in, remembers your active church/tenant, and protects against cross-site request forgery. Required for the app to function.
- Security tokens — short-lived tokens that protect sign-in, password reset and email-link flows.
2. Functional
- UI preferences — small browser storage entries for theme, sidebar state, and last-viewed dashboards.
- Locale — remembers language and number/currency formatting (KES default for Kenya).
3. Analytics
We may use privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics to understand feature usage and improve the product. Where required by law we will ask for consent before loading non-essential analytics. We do not share individual usage data with third-party advertisers.
4. Sub-processor cookies
Some sub-processors set their own cookies when their widgets load (e.g. payment provider checkout, email link tracking). See the Sub-processors page for the full list and links to each provider’s privacy notice.
5. Controlling cookies
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in from working. To unsubscribe from emails, use the link in the email footer or the unsubscribe page.
