Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free trial

Every paid plan includes a 30-day free trial. No card is required to start. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, paid features switch off but your data is preserved for 30 days so you can revisit the decision.

2. Monthly subscriptions

• Cancel at any time from the Billing page. The plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Monthly fees are non-refundable once the period has begun.

3. Annual subscriptions

• 14-day money-back window on your church’s first annual payment for a given plan. Email info@maximoraglobal.com from the church’s registered billing address. Provider fees (e.g. M-Pesa, card processing) are non-refundable.
• After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable, but you may cancel renewal so you are not charged for the next year. Service continues until the end of the current term.

4. Failed payments and grace period

If a renewal payment fails we retry automatically and notify your billing contact by email. Paid features remain available during a 14-day grace period. After the grace period, the account is downgraded to read-only until payment is completed. No data is deleted during this time.

5. Plan changes

• Upgrades take effect immediately. We pro-rate the difference for the rest of the current period.
• Downgrades take effect at the next billing date. Historical data is preserved; advanced features may become read-only.

6. Data after cancellation

After cancellation you may export your data for 30 days. After that period Customer Data is removed from production within 30 days and from backups within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records).

7. Exceptions

Refunds outside this policy may be granted on a case-by-case basis, for example for verified extended outages caused by Maximora. Reach out and we will deal with it fairly.
